Very Sad News!!!
I am going to be away from crafting and posting for a few weeks.
We are dealing with a horrible Mold issue in our home and may soon be moving to a new location. The Landlord for where we reside does not want to abide by the laws to have it repaired correctly and to protect the health of my family and pets we will be seeking other living arrangements.
Wish me Luck everyone!!!
See you soon!

Pocket Folio's
I recently watched the cutest video by Ginger @ https://www.youtube.com/user/mysistersscrapper for these adorable chipboard Folio's. I made these for gifts and need to still decorate the fronts of them but thought I would share how adorable they are.

Boxed Mini Album
I had so much fun making this beautiful boxed mini with some of my favorite designer papers. I used Graphic 45 Botanical Tea...Love love love this paper!!
The box is constructed from medium weigh chipboard for durability. I also inked all the edges of the papers with Distress Ink (walnut stain) for that aged romantic feel. I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers on the lid and Blue Seam binding to make the Bow. I used the Sizzix (Tim Holts) Ornate frames die and heat embossed it in white. I also used a We R Memory Keepers punch for the pocket and flip page borders but the name escapes at the moment. There are magnets used throughout this albums flip ups/outs as well
There is lots of real-estate in this mini and can hold a minimum of 38 photos. Each Pocket Page booklet will hold 4 - 6 x 4 photos.
There are plans to make several of these for my grand-daughters!!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Recipe Box (chipboard)
I have been quite busy with new projects and my day job. Finding the time lately to be crafty has been a real challenge...but I have prevailed!
The first project really has turned out better then I had expected and plan to make more for a few Birthday Presents. It will hold full size (4 x 6) recipe cards or it can be used to hold photos. I am still working on the dividers. Choosing the Designer paper for this particular box was so cheerful and bright it is sure to look great in any kitchen!!!
It is made with Medium weight chipboard so it has real durability and the easel flip top makes for holding your recipes while cooking a snap when those sticky/floured fingers just do not permit you to touch or hold things while your creativity flows in the Kitchen..HA
I hope you enjoy this lovely project.

Graphic 45 (Botanical Tea) Altered Box
I've had this box on my shelf seems like forever and when I ordered the Graphic 45 Paper Stack I couldn't resist altering this cute trinket box. I painted the inside a pretty pink to match the roses in the paper and added a small mirror encased in lace and pearls to add a sweet touch to the inside. I left all the original hardware the same as it gave that aged old world kind of feel. All the pretty Wild Orchid Crafts roses adorns the top with some green floral wire swirls. On Either side of the flowers on top are chipboard cut outs from the Trio Collection. Nestled sweetly among the flowers are some stamen and little rhinestone accented acrylic flowers. I also added a Crystal Aurora Borealis Heart and a lovely key charm to add a touch of whimsy. I added some pearl trim and lace on the edges.
I hope enjoy this lovely box!
Have a wonderful week!

Mini Journals.
Trying to get organized myself, I ran across this really cute tutorial on YouTube and I cant recall her name but I will update this post once I do find it again, but anywho I am a list maker. I am one of those people that have to write it down, especially if its a new project I am working on and need specific supplies. So I made these sweet little mini journals with a matching pen that will slip right into my purse and away I go with my notes and list in tow.
They have cute little pockets on the fold out pages for receipts or clip pictures of items or just little samples of items I might be searching for.
Just thought I would share...hope you enjoy!!!
